Peter Rimshnick

Pete joined Yext in April 2015 and currently works on the Location CMS team. Previously, Pete worked in IBM's Watson group and in their research division, and even farther back in his life had forays into economics research and consulting. Outside of work, Pete enjoys golf, reading about technology, strolling in Riverside Park with his wife Caitlin, and watching chess engines play each other.

If it ain't broke, don't break it

Last year, I wrote a post about how we were planning on replacing our aging location data search system (ProfileSearchServer v1) with a updated version that used Elasticsearch as a backend.
